Who are we?

We are a multicultural institution equipping excellent bilingual Christian leaders to be successful. Our instruction begins in pre-school and continues through high school. The discipleship of Jesus extends freely as the Bible is taught inspired by the Holy Spirit for the Glory of God. Our international Christian teachers are dedicated to serving our primarily Latin American student body. We welcome the privilege entrusted by you to educate your children. We consider it an honor, and a great responsiblity with the confidence bestowed on us by enrolling your child here at LCA.

 

We believe in biblical precepts as the foundation for excellent training. Although we are domiciled in a Spanish-speaking country, we teach all basic subjects in English, including Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and History. Beginning in the fourth grade, all students receive Spanish-language instruction in Spanish Language Arts and Social Studies, in keeping with the educational mandates of the Costa Rican government. All our our students to date have successfully passed their government exams upon completion of the sixth, ninth and eleventh grades.

 

We enjoy reaching out to the community. A few of our favorite annual projects are inviting a group of orphan children to visit us and caroling at a home for the elderly. We have found our students to be wonderfully sensitive during these activities, displaying their competence and leadership skills as they serve with love, express friendship, show mercy and  live in obedience to authority. They truly respect one another as we extend the love of Christ.

 

Liberty Christian Academy has held faithfully to a key precept that has brought continuous success in the last 15 years: the training given to our students. We offer an accelerated level of education that imparts truths, not only from human knowledge, but also of the heart and of the spirit. We teach the truth of Jesus and convey what He taught when He said, "...in the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:16).
